This folder contains:


Merge Module: SunOne Application Server 7

Description: This Merge Module contains the SunOne Application Server 7, and can be used as a Design Time Merge Module.   Please refer to the User Guide for detailed information on Merge Modules.  For more information on the SunOne Application Server 7, please go to the following site http://wwws.sun.com/software/products/appsrvr/home_appsrvr.html.

Default Actions:

Pre-Install:

-         Introduction Panel

-         License Agreement Panel

-         Choose Install Folder Panel

-         Choose Shortcut Folder Panel  

-         Custom Code Action:  This action modifies the USER_INSTALL_DIR creating two InstallAnywhere variables

NEW_INSTALL_DIR = <USER_INSTALL_DIR with ‘/’ instead of ‘\’ in the path> -

REG_DIR = <USER_INSTALL_DIR with “\\” instead of ‘\’ in the path> - This is used to set registry entries.

-         Get User Input Panel - Advanced:  Server Configuration Information

-         Show Message Dialog:  Server Configuration Error

-         Show Message Dialog:  Password Error  (not 8 characters)

-         Show Message Dialog:  Password Error  (do not match)

-         Pre-Install Summary Panel

 

Install:

-         Modify Text File – Multiple Files

-         Set Windows Registry – Multiple Entries:

-         Set System Environment Variable

Prepend “$USER_INSTALL_DIR$$/$AppServer7$/$bin” to PATH

-         Custom Code Action:  This custom code action deletes domain1 during uninstall.

 

Post-Install:

-         Set InstallAnywhere Variable:  This action sets the command to create domain, “domain1”.

-         Custom Code Action:  This custom code action creates domain, “domain1”.

-         Set InstallAnywhere Variable:  This action sets the command to create instance, “server1”.

-         Custom Code Action:  This custom code action creates instance, “server1”.
